Keeping in mind the information from the change the story clip we will now look at the specific types of behaviours that an abusive partner often uses against their victim in a relationship to stay in control.
Below is the Power and Control Wheel.
It serves as a diagram of tactics that highlights some (not all) of the types of abusive behaviours used against victims. You will note that the inside of the wheel is made up of subtle, continual behaviours over time, while the outer ring represents more observable physical and sexual violence.
