Change the story is a national framework

Every week in Australia one women dies at the hands of a current or ex intimate partner.  The national campaign to tackle violence against women and children is to change the story.  If you are here, it is because you want to change your own story for your family and to be a safe person for them to have in their life.  The following pages will assist in helping you in understanding which of your behaviours are abusive.

To start with watch this short video it explains how gender inequality is at the core of family violence.  It is created by Our Watch and is a consistent and integrated approach to preventing violence against women and children in Australia.
